How Does Psychotherapy Work?

My approach helps you explore how your past experiences might be influencing the way you think, feel, and respond in the present, and how you are feeling about the future. We’ll identify patterns that may be holding you back and work together to help you make positive changes in your life.

We will work at your pace, meeting in person or virtually where necessary. Our work will balance ensuring you feel safe and comfortable, whilst actively progressing the issues that you face. I run a LGBTQIA+ inclusive space where feeling comfortable and accepted are integral.

A session lasts 50 mins. Please let me know of any additional accessibility needs or circumstantial challenges in our consultation call.

How Would We Start?

We will have an initial consultation call that is free and lasts about 15 minutes. We will then spend our first 1-3 sessions exploring what brought you to therapy and collectively agreeing that working together feels right to you, and that we both feel that worthwhile progress can be made.
